COVID-19 CLOSURE NOTICE

Playgrounds, restrooms and outhouses closed until further notice.

In effort to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and encourage social distancing, effectively immediately, The Ontonagon Township Park Playground and play structures are CLOSED until further notice.

We want people to understand that the outdoors is still open but, for their own safety and the safety of the children, we are asking the public to stay off the equipment in order to help limit the spread of the virus. We need parents and guardians to help children and teens understand and follow this temporary closure.

Signs and barricades will be posted at the entrances. Park visitors are asked to adhere to all closure notices and current social distancing recommendations. If you choose to go for a walk, or exercise outside, please maintain a distance of six feet from people who are not a part of your household. Crossing through the park to get to a trail or beach destination is allowed. During the closer the restrooms and outhouses will be closed until further notice.
