Rates and rules

1. Check In -1:00 P.M. EST. (sites vacant from previous day exempt).

2. Check Out -11:00 A.M. EST.

3. All Campers are to register and pay the day of checking in.

4. All Sites are to be assigned through the office (not on site) on a first come first serve basis during office hours. Late arrivals are to self register or register the following morning.

(must pay for previous night).  

5. Registered campers may sign a site upgrade list:

• Must be present at office at (11:30 AM EST) for possible available sites. 
• Campers must be paid to date before upgrading and RV must be moved to new site by check in time (1:00 PM EST). 
• Once a camper chooses to upgrade to a lake site, the camper will be removed from the upgrade list. To get back on the upgrade list, the camper will have to move to an off lake site for at least one night.

6. Day hold policy available on vacant sites: 

• No sooner in advance then on the same day of your intended arrival that we can hold a vacant site for that day until 8:00PM EST only. (site upgrade list takes precedent).
• Sites will generally not be held until after check out time and after the site upgrade list is settled. 

7. Restricted lake sites enforced June 1st  through Labor Day.

8. Upon reaching restricted lake site time limit, Camper/Tent/RV etc. must move and may not occupy any restricted site for 24 hours.

9. One RV per site.

10. Quiet time 11:00 P.M. - 8:00 AM.

11. Washing vehicles/RV's must be authorized through the Park Office.   $10:00 fee applies.

12. Pets allowed on a visible leash and please clean up after your pet.

13. No ATVs on beach. ATVs operated by licensed driver only.

14. No setting off of fireworks or explosives in the park at anytime. 

15. A charge of $25.00 for NSF checks.

16. All rules subject to modification by action of the Ontonagon Township Park Commission.

17. The Park Manager will make final decisions regarding park rules/policies.

Unrestricted lake sites : The day of advertised park opening, sites will be assigned no sooner than 8:00 AM EST on a first come first serve basis.  All sites must be assigned through the park office.  Unrestricted lake sites not assigned on opening day will be available for the following 5 days on a first come first serve basis after which they will become restricted sites. Unrestricted lake sites must be prepaid to the end of the month.
